LATE ARRIVALS POLICY

No late arrivals are allowed to join the class. You will not be permitted to switch to another day or class and will not be refunded your money. We recommend arriving 10-15 minutes before your scheduled class, so that you have time to get changed, settled in, and reduce the risks of showing up late. You should be dressed and ready to start your session at the scheduled time. As our studio is in a basement, the door on the ground floor will be locked 3 minutes prior to the the start of every class. After this time, you are unfortunately not allowed to join the class. This is a safety issue, and we ask that you respect both our instructors and other students by showing up on time as tardiness is disruptive to the experience we aim to provide.

CANCELATION POLICY

At The Base Studio we have a 24-hour cancelation policy. As long as you cancel more than 24 hours before your scheduled class, your credit will be returned to your account, and you will be able to schedule for a future date. However, if you late cancel in the 24-hour cancelation period prior to your class start time you will lose the credit and will not be permitted to reschedule for another date.

SIGN-UP POLICY

As we are a small studio, classes fill up quickly. After purchasing a pricing plan, you can sign up online or through our app to secure your spot. We ask you kindly to only reserve class if you genuinely plan to show up. If you signed up and there is an unforeseen situation, you can reschedule or cancel up to 24 hours before your scheduled class. In this case, your credit will be returned to your account, and you will be able to reschedule for a future date. Unfortunately, any class with less than 4 participants is subject to cancelation as late as 5 hours prior to the scheduled start time due to low enrollment.

WAITING LIST POLICY

When classes are full, you can sign up to be on the waiting list. If you are on the waiting list, you should plan to come take the class if a spot opens up. If you can no longer take class, make sure to remove yourself from waiting list to avoid being added in and not being able remove yourself prior to our 24-hour cancelation period. Please note that you can be added to a class from the waiting list up to 3 HOURS before its start time as other students who cancel making room. You will receive an automatic email or text notification letting you know you have been added. At that point, you will be held to our regular 24-hour cancelation policy. Anyone on waiting list is welcome to arrive at the studio prior to your class start time to join the warm-up and take available spots from any no shows. Preference for any available spots due to no shows will be given in order of where you are positioned on the waiting list.

REFUNDS & TRANSFERS

All purchases are non-refundable and non-transferable. Once you make a purchase, make sure you know the expiration date and use all sessions before that date. We will not extend the expiration date, with exception for a medical situation.

PRIVATE CLASS POLICY

At The Base Studio we have a 24-hour cancelation policy, this includes reservations for private classes. If you cancel more than 24 hours before your scheduled class, you will be able to schedule for a future date. However, if you late cancel in the 24-hour cancelation period prior to your class start time, you will lose the private session credit and will not be permitted to reschedule for another date. Please note that the late arrival policy also counts for private classes.

OPEN PRACTICE POLICY

Please note that all other policies that ensure the safe and pleasurable practice at The Base Studio also count for open practice. Please make sure to cancel 24 hours in advance if ever you need to, show up 10—15 minutes prior to class and take yourself off the waiting list if you cannot make it to open practice.  Membership owners who booked an open practice as a recovery class, are not granted the right to reschedule if they late cancel. VIP Membership owners who cancel late, will not be granted the right to attend the open practice the upcoming week.

PRIVATIZED EVENTS POLICY

  • Total cost of event must be paid at time of booking to confirm the reservation.

  • When booking an event, the group size must be communicated. If the number of people changes, please let us know by email at least 24 hours in advance to give us time to prepare accordingly.

  • In case of cancelation, up to 30 days before the event, 75% of the total event cost refunded or you can reschedule for no extra charge.

  • If you can less than 30 days before your event, 50% of the totally event cost will be refunded. You will not be able to reschedule unless paying for another party.

  • Please note, cancelation can be made no later than 14 days prior to the event start time. Any cancelation within the 14 days cancelation period will receive no refund.

  • There are no refunds for late comers or late cancelations.

  • Lateness to events will result in a shorter event time. Over 30 minutes late to an event may result in cancellation of the event.

  • We do not permit food or drinks (except water) inside the studio.

  • Anyone under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be permitted to participate and will not be refunded their money.
